Sri Lanka is an island in the Indian Ocean and lies southeast of India. The country is known for its vast plains and impressive mountain tops, tea plantations, and beautiful temples. The island was formerly known as Ceylon, a name which is still used for the tea that comes from Sri Lanka. The country is relatively rich compared to nearby India.

Sri Lanka with wonderful natural scenery. This is the home of many rare animals, rich ecosystems, in which Yala National Park and Udawalawe National Park are two famous national parks with Safari safari tours to see animals. Besides, the beautiful romantic beaches, full of sunshine such as Tangalle, Arugam Bay, or Midigama beach will surely make visitors fascinated no matter how many times they come.

Best Time to Visit Sri Lanka
The best to visit the Srilanka depends on the activities you want to involve in your vacation. Srilanka is an island country and the weather throughout the year is pleasant and better for sightseeing activities. The summer season is Mild and the winter is considered to be cold morning with a warm sun. For exploring the ancient cities and coastline of the east, the best time is April to September. The best time for sporting activities like surfing on the west coast and to explore the hill country from December to March.

Day 1
Arrival at Sigiriya. At( Arrival Time): You will arrive in Sigiriya, Srilanka. You will be warmly welcomed by our Airport representative and transfer to the Sigiriya which is approximately 140 km from the Airport. Stay overnight at Sigiriya, Srilanka.
Day 2
Sigiriya Sightseeing. At 07:00 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel. You will be heading for Elephant Orphanage lies in Pinnawala village which takes around two and a half hours to reach. Pinnawala elephant orphanage is a unique project to save the Asian elephant and also it has the largest elephant herd in the world. After exploring the Orphanage, visit a spice garden which takes around one and a half hours to reach. Spice garden is a famous tourist destination and also quite a peaceful place to spend and closer to nature. After that transfer to Sigiriya, also explore the famous GOLDEN ROCK CAVE temple which is on the route to Sigiriya, also a famous temple which is listed in worlD heritage site UNESCO. After completing the temple tour, you will continue to Sigiriya. Stay overnight at Sigiriya. Option: Pinnawala open Zoo. ( you can exchange the elephant orphanage to Pinnawala open zoo)
Day 3
Kandy SightSeeing. At 07:00 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel. At 08:00 AM: you will be heading for Kandy from Sigiriya which takes around 3 hours. After reaching there, you will be taken to climb The ROCK FORTRESS of Sigiriya located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the central province, Sri Lanka. The Rock Fortress is made of rock and has both historical and archaeological significance, also listed in the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After exploring the beautiful Rock Fortress, you will be heading to Kandy which takes around two hours forty minutes. In Kandy visit the beautiful hill country lies in the central province which is also the cultural and religious heart of Srilanka. Also listed in the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Then explore Aluvihara Rock Cave Temple lies in Matale District, Srilanka which is a high rock temple made of a natural cave with Reclining Buddha Statue. On completing the tour, you will proceed to Kandy. In the evening, proceed to SACRED TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH RELIC which takes around 8 minutes to reach. It is a Buddhist temple located in the Royal Palace Complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy. It is a Srilanka’s most important Buddhist Shrine which is listed in World Heritage Site UNESCO. Also, enjoy the Kandyan Cultural show at the Kandyan arts and cultural center. Stay overnight at Kandy.
Day 4
Kandy Fullday Tour. After having Breakfast in the hotel at 08:30 Am, you will be heading for a day tour of some amazing places which include, upper lake drive which is next to the Temple of Tooth which is an artificial lake in the hill city of Kandy and also famous for a sea of milk. Then, you will proceed to explore a Batik factory, art and craft centre, Gem Museum and Lapidary. After completing these amazing places, visit PERADENIYA ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDEN lies in the central province of Srilanka which includes more than 400 species of plants, including orchid, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees. Back to the hotel and overnight at Kandy.
Day 5
Nuwara Eliya Sightseeing. At 07:00 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel. At 08:00 AM, proceed to Nuwara Eliya from Kandy which takes around 3 hours. After reaching there you are headed to explore the Tea factory, Tea Plantation, Ramboda Falls And Sri Bhakta Temple which are located in Ramboda, after exploring these places return back to your hotel. In the evening, you can explore some places such as Nuwara Eliya Town lies in the central province and a small beautiful village in Srilanka. Then visit the central market which is located on the new bazar street in the centre of the town and a wonderful place with a colourful life. Also, explore the Golf Course, the Hill club and enjoy the view of Lake Gregory which is a famous historical landmark. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6
Colombo Sightseeing. At 07:00 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel. At 08:00 AM: proceed for Colombo from Nuwara Eliya which takes around 5 hours. After reaching there, explore the National Museum which is the largest museum in Srilanka. Then explore Independence square, Gangarama Temple, BMICH, Town Hall, Nelum Pokuna, Pettah Bazaar, and a Hindu Temple. After completing the tour back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7
Departure. At 07:00 Am: Have your breakfast at the Hotel. At 09:00 Am, proceed to the Bandaranaike International Airport( Depending on the flight departure time, you will be transferred to the Airport). Fly back to your hometown carrying all the beautiful memories in your eyes and mind leaving this beautiful island Sri Lanka.
